Melissa is beyond a rare gem! United healthcare got me in touch with her. After verifying her OK licensing online (please do this for anyone) and researching her, she drove in to meet my dad and I in Tulsa. I’ve been on Medicare 10 years, my dad just starting in after retiring from the corporate world. Melissa is beyond fantastic and knows her stuff! She verified our doctors, scripts, and all preferences and helped us choose the best plans for our needs. The benefits are something you can’t pass on. Dental and vision with Medicare? Yes!!!!! Plus FREE OTC products throughout the year, crazy low costs, and great coverage. Melissa is sincere, knowledgeable, but has a heart for what she does that is so rare. She truly is called to help people, she wants to genuinely be your agent and help you, not just get a commission and move on, which I’ve seen a lot, but not with her. She loves what she does, and it shows. You see her heart for service in what she does. It does not cost you anything to use her, and so many do their Medicare on their own not knowing the mistakes they make. Calling Medicare & insurance companies will not get you the knowledge you get with Melissa. I wish I found her when I first started, but so glad I have now.

I was born in Oklahoma and raised in Neosho, MO. My husband (Derek) and I have 6 children and 6 sweet grandchildren who we adore. It wasn’t until 2009 when I moved back to Oklahoma that I started my insurance career and developed a passion for educating seniors on their rights and options regarding Medicare. Over the last decade I’ve been helping this under served population by empowering them to make the best insurance decisions for their individual healthcare needs.

In 2019 I resigned my position as Sales Manager for one of the nation’s largest Medicare insurance carriers to join the amazing team at OKMedicareHelp. I provided support, training and mentorship to hundreds of independent insurance agents around the state of Oklahoma and gave them the tools they needed to make the right impact for Medicare beneficiaries. The experience I gained in my previous role gave me a unique look at how to help navigate the complexities of Medicare for both Medicare beneficiaries and agents alike.
